The 2019 Annual Stow Community Art Exhibit

Where: Stow Community Center, Stow, MA

When: Friday, March 15, 7pm-9pm

Calling all local artists, ages high school and above! The Stow Cultural Council is seeking all creative residents of Stow and surrounding communities, to showcase their original art at the Second Annual Stow Community Center Art Show in March 2019.

Submit a digital image along with information below to enter. There is no entry fee for this judged exhibit, so start creating! We'd love to have your piece hanging on the newly installed gallery wall in the Stow Community Center.

First place winner receives a cash prize. A “fan favorite” will be determined by those attending opening night through secret ballot, and also be awarded a prize.

The exhibit will be open for public viewing throughout the month, as well as each Saturday.

Submission Requirements

Space is limited with preference being given to Stow residents.
Ages: High school and above
Size: No larger than 30” (in either dimension)
Mediums: All mediums are accepted. Artists submitting any 3D art must supply their own display system.
All artwork must be original, and created by the artist.

Entry due date: March 1, 2019

All artists must read and agree to waiver below to successfully submit their entry.

Pick up and Drop Off Requirements

Artwork that is accepted must be dropped off, on March 9. Hours of drop off will be sent to artist in due time before this date. Art must be ready to hang, with wire installed on backside of frame. Artist will receive a number, which is their designated spot that correlates to space on the gallery wall. Upon drop-off, artist will hang art on the assigned spot designed by the Stow Cultural Council.

Artwork must be picked up the weekend following the conclusion of the show, on March 30 (9am-12pm). Any art that is not picked up by any artist will become property of the Stow Cultural Council.
